PC World Magazine selected the best free programs that provide power without the high price of software suites. Some of these are "no frills" programs but they do the job and do it well. There is no spyware, adware or other unwanted junk in any of these programs.
The programs include anti-virus, anti-adware, music players, image manipulation and enhancements, photo cataloging, e-mail, CD/DVD burner and PDF programs.
