Many people know that Skype offers free calls across the Internet. You can only call other computers plus a few toll-free telephone numbers (unless you pay for the Skype-In and Skype-Out service.
Phone companies like to gouge their customers for calls to 411 (information). Now there is a simple work-around:
Use the free Skype service to call 800FREE411. They route your call and it won't charge your minutes since you called a 800 number first. Sweet.
Sorry folks, this only works in North America. (Well, people in other countries can call US or Canadian information...)
